The Bianchi farm

over two centuries of wine in Piedmont

For over 200 years, the life philosophy of the generations of the Bianchi family has been producing wine, respecting tradition and the territory of origin, trying to extract the maximum quality and pleasantness from their grapes
HISTORY
When in 1785 Bianchi Giuseppe Maria began to cultivate new vineyards, he never thought that his work would have met eight generations.
PEOPLE
In the mid-twentieth century, Giuseppe was a key figure who, thanks to his tenacity, developed the market throughout northern Italy and made himself known also in Switzerland. The daughter Eva and her husband Mario gave a further impulse by acquiring the vineyards in Gattinara and expanding the market overseas. Now his nephew Paolo together with his mother Eva has added innovation to wine-making technologies by creating increasingly sought-after wines
CONSTANCE
As in all companies, after so many successes, difficult moments also come. A financial crisis that has reduced European markets for a few years. With tenacity the family union has allowed today to start again with new markets

Who we are

MORE THAN 150 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD OF WINE

Located in an area with a strong wine vocation, Casa Vinicola Barbero was born in 1866 from the will of Michele who decided to undertake the production of wine with local grapes: Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Two generations followed in his footsteps, up to Piero and his son Enrico who took up the challenge of moving the company forward towards new goals, while respecting the traditional production techniques handed down in the family.
